I had the privilege of working with Rebekah Doeke on her first book, A History of the Barossa Vintage Festival: Past & Present Events.
As a graphic designer, one of the funny things is that once the files are finished and sent to print, I don’t always get to see the final published copy. So I was genuinely delighted to be invited to the book launch, where I received my own signed copy!

This publication documents the story of the Barossa Vintage Festival from its beginning in 1947 through to today. It’s packed with photographs sourced from festival archives and shared by members of the Barossa community, making it feel both historical and personal.
While I was laying out the pages and shaping the overall design, it brought back a wave of nostalgia from my time living in the Barossa. If you’ve lived in the region, grown up nearby, or visited the festival over the years, I’m pretty sure you’ll feel that same sense of connection as you flip through its pages.
